This is the update of the website I have been working on.

Week 6 ilab

I've actually choose this navigation bar because its a great example of a unique navigational bar. I like how they use a grudge effect to highlight the text and also at the top it seems to have a rainbow effect as you rollover the navigation bar.

Ilab week 5

I wish I could re size it. This is the wire frame I'm working on now and will be the actual website for my group. It will have a sliding header and work as a blog site. This is just the start, I've been working all night and still going at it. I will keep you guys updated.

Ilab week 4

Font Set # 1

·      Bleeding Cowboy

·      Space Cowboy

I believe these two fonts would serve a great purpose for a great portfolio website.

Font Set #2

·      Pan Head

·      Rosewood

I think these two fonts would be great for a site that deals with gaming, that’s the feeling I get from it. Only flaw would be the “PAN HEAD” font because it generally starts of in a small size so when scaled it will lose quality.

Font Set #3

·      Rio grande

·      Europe Underground

I feel theses fonts could be used for a high profile magazine website, something like a entertainment website. It kind of reminds me of the magazine sites “XXL” and “The Source”.

Font Set #4

·      Walk Way

·      Fabada

These two fonts just scream a fashion design website. They are both sleek and simple and at the same time its professional for a clothing website.

I believe this web site is a great example of Bertin's retinal principle. The whole style just flows together and its not to cluttered. It looks like your going to get a great experience going to this site. It just has a united feel about it. ILab 2 Datpiff.com and XXLMAG.com

The reason I picked both of these websites because this is what I want my website based around. XXL Magazine is a great  informational hierarchy site because it tells whats going on in the entertainment business daily and its well organized. It also has live feeds, focuses heavily on music content and keeps you up to date with the latest mix tapes and official cds. When you go to this site your know what your going to get and everything is easy to find. Its a great site compared to other new sites like SOHH.com, which is way to cluttered. The design is your simple white/black theme with great implemented news sliders.

As for Datpiff.com, its basically just based around music and again when you go to this website everything is laid out for you which makes it easy to find the mix tape your looking for. Its really not much to explain about this website other than its a website for music. Although the theme is very interesting because it sports a lot of graphics and animations with great promotional designs.
